The Knights of Columbus launched the Refund Support Vocations Program (RSVP) in 1981. Under this program, local K of C councils and assemblies agree to make an annual contribution of $500 or more to an individual seminarian or novice to help with personal expenses. Many councils and assemblies sponsor more than one seminarian or novice. Since the launch of the program, more than 104,000 seminarians and religious have received over $63 million dollars in financial support.
The Diocese of Syracuse has been blessed by the great generosity of local Knights of Columbus councils and assemblies through the RSVP program for many years.
